It’s easy to think that as the British summer comes to an end, it also means the end of sunshine holidays. It’s true that many European resorts close over the winter – but not El Portús which is open all year round. Between October and March is a perfect time to go, out of the busy – and hot! – main holiday season. It’s warmer than home, the sun often shines and the spring comes earlier than here. Prices are reduced too – and I will make it even more affordable by deducting a further £50 off the price if you book a Type ‘B’ mobile home during the low season. All Type ‘B’ mobile homes on site now have air conditioning too (which, should it be necessary, doubles as heating…)
Looking ahead – I now have all the rates for accommodation in 2020 at El Portús – let me have your dates and I’ll be happy to quote you. Outside of July and August, the longer you stay, the less the per-night price becomes.
Sheryn and I will be hosting our own group holiday at El Portús next May, 9 – 16th. This is an unofficial gathering of friends and others who we know through our work with El Portús and we would love people to join us. We’ve already taken a number of bookings and are looking forward to helping everyone have a great time, in great company. There will be an activity programme which is likely to include exercise classes, quizzes, walks, spa session, group lunches and dinners, and trips off the site – we’ll be choosing from a vineyard, liqueur factory, silver mine, nature reserve with nude beaches and local historical sites – of which there are plenty! You’ll have to make your own way to El Portús, but we can organise transfers from the airport. Some of the activities will attract an additional cost. You can stay longer than 7 nights if you wish. Interested in finding out more? Let me know and I’ll be happy to send you a quote.
